Paradise Lost é uma banda inglesa de doom/death metal formada em 1988. Conterrânea de similares como Anathema e My Dying Bride, ela formou a base do gothic metal e foi uma das bandas responsáveis pelo surgimento do sub-estilo death/doom metal.
